How to use Free Barcode Generator
1. Enter the text or numbers for your barcode
Type (or paste) the content you want encoded. Check that your input matches the format rules: digits-only for EAN/UPC, correct length for retail codes, alphanumeric for CODE128/CODE39, etc.

Each format has strict input requirements: EAN-13 = exactly 13 digits; EAN-8 = exactly 8 digits; UPC = 12 digits; ITF-14 = 14 digits; Pharmacode = numbers 3–131070; MSI = digits only; CODE39 = A–Z, 0–9, and –. $ / + % space; CODE128 = full ASCII (any combination of letters, numbers, symbols).
Can I use these barcodes on products for sale in retail stores?

You may use the generated barcode image itself for printing, but retail stores require a globally unique GS1 Company Prefix and official product registration for UPC/EAN codes. We generate the graphic — you must own or license the number from a standards body before using the code on retail products.
What is the best format to choose for my use case?
